I’ll say this for our visitors – they keep us on our toes when it comes to things they want to do and see. So far we have had requests ranging from cultural sights to attractions for a small child to good places to go running. This time a new gauntlet was thrown down. You see Simon plays the guitar, so this time the brief was to visit an ‘open mic’ night (a music night where the resident band gives up their guitars and drums to musical members of the audience). The venue of choice was the Crazy Elephant bar on Clarke Quay, which holds a blues style jam night…or should I say…Jaaaaaaammmm night every Sunday. Luckily Simon had a chance to warm up thanks to an impromptu performance at Jann’s housewarming party, which we went to earlier on Sunday night. Shame we managed to break the tambourine…
PS - it was so dark in the Crazy Elephant that the videos will be more of an audio experience rather than visual!
